DIY hair mask with eggs and avocado

Hair, beautiful hair….till the winter and all it’s joy hits and you end up looking like you stuck your finger in a light socket. The forced heat, the change in the water, less humidity in the air, all lead to a dry static mess.

Like the skin, the hair needs some TLC too and although you may think that eggs and avocados make for a tasty breakfast – they do- they also happen to be an affordable, aaaa-may-zing hair treatment.

A good treatment packed with protein will leave your locks looking luscious all year round. This simple DIY recipe will give your hair the protein punch it needs.

Avocado oil helps rejuvenate and moisturize the scalp. A rich source of proteins, amino acids, and vitamins, avocado helps soothe the scalp and promotes long, strong, healthy hair growth.

The yolk will work to condition your hair and you can use them as often as you want. The yolk is especially helpful for dry, damaged hair and when used alone or with other ingredients, the treatment will give you shiny, strong, and healthy hair.
